My newest interest for home decor is Shabby Chic. As the reality of my daughters leaving the nest in the next few years materializes, I will for the first time in my life be living alone. As of now, I want everything to be Shabby Chic. I have already started sketching some ideas for the kitchen and have been re-doing my bedroom and bath for the last year.
Today, I refashioned a pot holder, and the uniqueness of this project is that the original pot holder was a wedding gift all those years ago. The crochet picture is the original wedding gift. The checkered pot holder was a recovering 10 years ago.
The green lacey one at the bottom is the current refashion.
